Hello there, thank you for visiting my food blog. I want to share some of my favorite family recipes and recipes I created along with the food I tried on my travels across the globe.

My love for food started in my childhood when I was introduced to homemade snacks and dishes which changed according to the season. The lack of restaurants and the concept of eating out was not popular, so we got to try homemade food from different kitchens in the family – Delicious fish curry my aunt made, and savory snacks my grandmother made and sent for us.

I grew up in a family with a vegetarian diet and learned to eat different kinds of seasonal vegetables. Although I am a pescatarian now, I love the variations, textures, and volume of recipes that can be used to cook vegetables. I hope to share these recipes and some stories from my childhood with you through this blog.

Mission

MIssion

Every recipe has a background – it could be an heirloom recipe, or it was created due to the circumstances of that time and availability of the ingredients, an adaption or enhancement from its original form.

My mission is to share traditional family recipes, old recipes that were adapted to include new spices, a new vegetable or protein source like mushrooms that are available now. I will also share my favorite food trails in my hometown and other food I tasted when traveling globally.

My Vision

Vision

I want to combine my love for travel and food and create food trails for every place I visit. Also, share traditional family recipes that are not widely known along with interesting stories around them.
